Updating CodeMeter Runtime, which is required to install our software, can cause Windows Explorer to crash and the taskbar to disappear. Therefore, we recommend a separate new installation of CodeMeter Runtime before installing or updating our software.
Please proceed as follows:

1. Close all running programs on your computer to avoid data loss.
2. Uninstall your current CodeMeter Runtime version or perform a new installation using the button in our setup dialog.
3. Should the uninstallation or reinstallation result in Windows Explorer no longer being operable, restart the process via the Task Manager:

Press CTRL+ALT+DEL on your keyboard.
Windows 10: From the File menu, choose Run new task. Enter “Explorer” and confirm with OK.
Windows 11: Click the Run new task button on the Processes page. Enter “Explorer” and confirm with OK.

The taskbar is displayed again.

4. Restart your computer as an alternative to step 3.
5. Install our software as usual.
