Activating a License in the WebDepot · Customer Self-Service

Note: For direct license activation, Chrome/Edge must allow WebDepot to access apps and services on the device. Select “Allow” when prompted.

1. Open https://activate.trafficsoftware.ptvgroup.com. Enter your license ticket number in the “Ticket” field and select “Next”.

2. Chrome will ask whether activate.trafficsoftware.ptvgroup.com is allowed to access other apps and services on this device. Click “Allow”. This permission is required so that WebDepot can communicate with the locally installed CodeMeter Runtime and activate the license directly.

Note: If you have selected to block access, the direct license activation over the WebDepot cannot be completed. The following steps detail how you can rectify that situation and are only required to complete in that situation.

3. If access is blocked, the activation process switches to an information page.

4. Click the site information or site settings icon to the left of the address bar. Locate “Apps on your device” and enable this permission. Then refresh the WebDepot page and restart the activation process.
