Make sure that you have access to the following:

  • An invitation to a subscription of PTV Hub
  • An installation of PTV Visum, Vissim or Vistro
  • An internet connection

 

1. Search for licenses from a subscription: If there currently is no available license for your installation, please proceed as described in step 1a. If you want to switch to a PTV Hub license from a different type of license, please follow step 1b instead.

1a. Start PTV Visum, Vissim or Vistro. In the following window, click on "Use license from subscription".

 

Alternatively 1b. Start PTV Visum, Vissim or Vistro and open the License Management. You can find the related instructions in our article "Opening license management in PTV Vision products". In the License Management window, click on "Search for licenses in Subscription".

 

2. The following dialog appears. Sign into your PTV user account.

 

3. This will cause a browser window to open where you can complete the sign-in process.

 

4. After a successful sign-in, you will receive a confirmation in your browser.

 

5. The licenses from your PTV Hub subscription now appear In the License Management window. You can identify them by the type "PTV Hub". Select one (or more) using the checkmarks in the first column, and click on OK. (For more details regarding the selection of licenses for usage, see the corresponding article.)

6. If you followed step 1b., you will need to restart the software for the selected license to be used.
