Symptom

After installing the Servicepack 23.01-17 starting Visum fails with an error message: “OLE Initializitation failed!”

Cause

The file
c:\Program Files\PTV Vision\PTV Visum 2023\Exe\System.Data.SQLite.dll
is not needed anymore but still referenced.

Workaround

Delete manually (as Administrator) that file .\exe\System.Data.SQLite.dll.

Resolution

- Install the Servicepack 23.01-18 as soon as available.

- Remove the Visum-2023 installation and reinstall with the current setup:
