Would you like to transfer data from e.g. the PTV Map&Guide intranet 2020 version to the 2022 version?
For this you would have to install parts of version 2021 beforehand
Please have the license numbers of version 2021 and 2022 ready.
To finally update the data to version 2022, you would have to go through the following steps - here, first of all, it is only about transferring the data from version 2020 to version 2022:
First, for version 2021, you would need to install the web application and the SQL tables (database).
You do not need any maps or other program parts!
To do this, in the program setup of version 2021, just check the two boxes shown in the screenshot below.
After installation of the two components please start the administration tool to enter there the license of the users for version 2021 (users remain thus active!).
Afterwards please let me know with this license number. I have to make an adjustment in our PIN database for you!
Finally, call up the intranet 2020 data transfer tool in version 2021 and transfer the data.
Now open the admin tool of 2022 and enter the license of the users.
If everything has worked without errors up to this point, call up the intranet 2021 data transfer tool in version 2022 and transfer the data to 2022.
